Single Data Repository

All planLM components are designed to run on a single data source, actually the same data source. planLM data model features proprietary on-the-fly aggregation/disaggregation capability that enables multiple planning functions to run on the same instance of data.

Having a single data repository makes a typical planLM implementation easier:

• Every planning application runs on the same instance of data, therefore workflow consistency is always enforced, eliminating costly and fragile integration efforts among planning applications.
• This common data source also serves as the single touch point to external data sources, enabling quicker data synchronization to ERP/legacy systems.
• Once the system is up and running for a planning functionality, the efforts required to add incremental functionality is minimal.
